About Your Technician

Why did you start your business?
I became an electrologist out of necessity as I was dissatisfied with the lack of sanitation and cleanliness of the facilities I had gone to for treatment. I wanted to offer both safe and effective treatments, so I went for training to be able to offer permanent hair removal services the way I wanted to be treated. When looking for a permanent makeup technician to work in my office, I couldn't find anyone whom I thought was qualified. That is when I decided to become a permanent cosmetic professional. I now offer permanent makeup for eyebrows, eyeliner, lips and breast repigmentation for breast cancer survivors who have undergone breast reconstruction. I am honored to work with cancer survivors.

What makes you different than other similar businesses in your community?
As a Registered Nurse you can be assured of a safe and comfortable treatment. I am board certified in both electrolysis and permanent cosmetics and comply with strict sanitation guidelines as well as regularly attend continuing education events. Electrolysis has been a licensed profession in Illinois since July 2006. This facility is a state regulated permanent cosmetic salon.
